Marc, while wearing a bun costume, runs into the boss for the job he turned down. Betty tells him that Marc is an editor and she is his assistant. The man tells Betty to schedule a lunch for him and Marc. They then get a text to get back to Mode asap. Betty is upset when she finds out that Marc threw away her clothes and now she has to go to the office dressed as a hot dog.

Daniel attends a support group with Natalie and scoffs at the instructor. Daniel explains that his statements seem overly simplistic. The instructor tells Daniel to try being honest and see if it frees him up in some way.

Amanda fantasizes about kissing Matt, who then turns into Betty. She screams as she sees Betty dressed as a hot dog. Matt tells Betty that Wilhelmina is cutting articles. Wilhelmina sees Betty in a hot dog costume and tells her she is out. Betty tries to defend her idea, but Wilhelmina still says no. Marc arrives in costume and the two do their dance. Betty says fashion inspiration comes from the most unusual places. Marc suggests they use the pictures of Betty, but Wilhelmina says no. He then suggests they use a supermodel instead of Betty and Wilhelmina agrees.

Daniel tells Lexie that he only hired her because she is hot. He says she is mean and impatient, which aren't the right qualities for an assistant. He suggests she be a model instead. She says she always wanted to be a model. Claire is shocked that Daniel's honesty worked.

Daniel is impressed by Lexie's photo shoot for Betty's article. Daniel asks Betty why she isn't excited about her spread. Betty says she and Marc fought all day and she has doubts that she was the right choice for the job. Daniel tells her that it doesn't matter how you get a job, but more so how you do a job.

Archie shows Hilda his news conference where he apologizes to Hilda. He tells the voters they will have to accept the fact that his girlfriend is sexy. Archie tells Hilda that the new polls show he is in the lead.

Wilhelmina brings Nico some frozen yogurt to celebrate the fact she is keeping her job. Wilhelmina says Isobel turned down the job. Nico asks if it has to do with the article in Mode France talking about how difficult it is to work for Claire. Nico admits she faked the story and Wilhelmina says she is proud of her. Meanwhile, the bloody fingerprint is discovered on their yacht.

Betty shows Daniel the final edit of the article. He sees that she included his name in her by-line. He asks why she is so nice to him. She says either one of them could have gotten the promotion. She admits that she would have been jealous if he got the job. She then gives him a hug.
