Wilhelmina asks Nico where she has been and Nico tells her not to worry. Wilhelmina tells Nico she must remain at her side from now on.

Justin teaches Ignacio how to use email. Hilda makes some snide comments and Betty asks her what's wrong. Hilda says Archie is too busy campaigning right now to spend any time with her. Justin tells Betty to have someone lower than her do her extra work. Betty says there are people there, but she doesn't want to look weak.

Marc asks Wilhelmina if it's true that Claire and Hartley are planning on replacing her with Isobel. Wilhelmina says she tried to get dirt on Isobel and failed. She says they need to make Claire think she is indispensable. Marc is doubtful of Wilhelmina's plan to be nice.

Betty asks Wilhelmina to sign off on an assistant for her to use. Wilhelmina is distracted by Marc and Nico's conversation. She then announces that Marc will be Betty's assistant. Marc objects, but Wilhelmina says she wants Nico to be her assistant for a while. Betty says she doesn't need help, but Wilhelmina insists.

Marc tells Betty he won't be her gofer. Betty asks him to help her edit some papers. Hilda calls Betty and asks where her sexy boots are so she can send Archie a sexy text. Marc tells Betty he finished her work while she was on her personal call. Marc then complains about Betty getting the promotion. Betty says she will have Daniel tell him the truth about why she was chosen.

Daniel tells Lexie that he is leaving for a while, but she ignores him while she is on the phone. Daniel meets with Natalie and she suggests he go with her to a support group. He makes fun of it, then agrees to go with her.

Claire and Hartley see Wilhelmina and Nico eating in the cafeteria. They sit down together and Wilhelmina tries to appear friendly. Hartley says there is a new trend towards vampires and suggests they put vampires on the cover of Mode. Wilhelmina thinks to herself that it is an awful idea, but agrees to do the cover.
