Rabbit briefs the doctors on burn patient. Marisa sees that Diana is acting coldly towards Rabbit. Rabbit thanks Diana after she updates the burn victim's wife. He asks her what she is doing for Thanksgiving and she informs him he will be in the hospital. She explains she is tired and missing her family. She tells him she knows he is going to die alone and doesn't want to be her entertainment for the day. Nancy arrives and asks who wants to give a bath to a transient. Nancy and Rabbit ask each other what they are doing. Nancy says she will be with her family. Rabbit figures they will be talking about medical stuff. Nancy says she figures he is going to be drinking alone.

Cameron figures that Tyler doesn't want to go home. He advises him to let his parents know the truth since they will learn anyways. Tyler practices telling his parents and compares himself to Elton John. Tyler asks Cameron how he would deliver the news. Cameron gives a touching monologue which impresses Tyler. He asks Cameron if he is sure he is not gay, but Cameron threatens to cut him.

A group of men play football out in the field. After one of the players can't get up, Nancy and Glenn are called to the scene. Nancy sees that the man has a dislocated kneecap. Nancy counts down just before she pops it back in place. At the hospital, Nancy and Glenn talks about how many brothers they have. Glenn says his brothers are drinking beer and watching a football game now. Glenn admits he hasn't called them. Nancy tells him since she has been working for a while, she looks forward to being on the job instead of being with her family.
