Glenn tells Nancy he is freaked about being questioned by the police. Nancy says no one wants to see anyone hang. The medics are called in and asked to give their story of what happened. They ask Glenn and Nancy if they met the suspect. The medics say they didn't treat the suspect and can't testify to what happened. Glenn is informed that they have been watching Lyons for a long time and asks him if he hit the suspect. After the interviews, Nancy tells Glenn she doesn't want to know what he told the investigators.

Raleigh, the drunk passenger, wakes up and asks to see his friend. Joe enters the room and tells Raleigh that Daryl is dead. Raleigh thinks he is joking, but Joe says he is not. Raleigh is sedated as he tries to get out of his bed.

The chief asks Nancy to talk to him in his office. He says Glenn talked and Lyons is going to be suspended. Nancy says Lyons had it coming. The chief says that the situation creates ill will between them and the police. The chief says that Glenn might not make it through the probation period.

Cameron asks Tyler what happened to his boyfriend. Tyler says his ex was upset with his car since it is a gas guzzler. Tyler explains he told his ex that he loves his El Camino. Cameron says his ex has a point since they should try to save the planet. They leave after they get a call. They meet a woman named Valencia who has a wound in her abdomen. A man goes out of the apartment and tells the medics that Valencia cut herself. Tyler steps away and calls for the police because of the possible domestic violence. The medics tell the man they need to take Valencia to the hospital, but the man pulls a knife and says she is not going anywhere. The man loads Valencia into his car and drives off. Tyler follows the car. Cameron reports to the police that they are in pursuit, but they lose them.

The police are able to corner the knife wielder. The police order the man out of the car. Nancy, who is at the scene, pulls Valencia out of the car, loads her on a gurney and into the ambulance. As Glenn closes the door, he discovers that Lyons is there. He tells him that he was suspended and asks which one of them talked. Glenn says he deserved what he got since he beat a defenseless man. Lyons explains that the suspect has a history of rape and assault. Lyons punches Glenn in the stomach then leaves.

Casey teases Marisa as she files a report. He says he likes her partner. Rabbit learns that Casey compares him to a psycho burn out.

At the bar, Glenn notices that the crowd is hostile towards him. Rabbit warns Glenn that he might get into trouble. An off duty officer approaches Glenn and tells him that he shouldn't mess with a police officer's livelihood. Rabbit is able to calm the off duty police officers down. Rabbit brings the police officers drinks before he takes off.

At the hospital, Diana discovers that Raleigh is not in his bed and finds him roaming the halls looking for Daryl. As he is dragged away, he tells security that Rabbit told him Daryl was going to be okay. Rabbit arrives and tells Diana that it is not his problem that Raleigh can't handle the fact people die. Diana tells Rabbit to take care of himself then leaves.
