Although the show is finally giving Lisa, Sophia and Miranda some character development, it seems like it is too little too late. There is no other issues that can be created since Lisa's sister was killed by an accident when she was young. We had no idea who Miranda's dad was, so there is no real shock that Sophia was involved with him. David supposedly scores with the ladies, but there was no real flirtations shown and the seduction seemed fabricated instead of realistic. The lack of humanity in the writing results in the lack of emotions for me while I watch the show. Without any real emotional connection, I don't look forward to watching the show and I suspect the feeling is similiar with other viewers. I am surprised this show hasn't been pulled off the air yet and replaced with repeats of one of CBS's more successful shows.
