Miranda examines Blair and asks him if he knows what is going on. Andy examines another player who doesn't have feeling in the lower half of his body. He orders a CT scan to see if he has a spinal injury.

Miranda sees Blair is not responding. Sophia suspects he is experiencing intercranial hemorrhaging. Pam examines Bobby and sees he is fine. She asks him if his parents know he is there. Bobby asks how he walked away without any injuries and Pam tells him he was lucky. Blair starts to seize up and shakes in his bed.

Erin asks Ryan if he is the first to know about an available heart and he says yes. She asks if she can stay there to wait for Brandon to get a new heart, but Ryan says she can't.

The doctors receive Blair's CT scan and see he has a subdermal hematoma. Sophia asks for a drill to relieve the pressure in his head. David asks if he should call the time of death on a patient he has been trying to revive for the last 15 minutes, but she instructs him to continue. After David performs CPR for a few more minutes, the teacher Rose, comes back to life.

Blair starts to crash and Sophia and Miranda figure he is now brain dead.

Bobby calls his parents and tells them he is fine. Pam meets with him and informs him Blair didn't make it. Bobby blames himself.

Miranda tells Blair's parents that their son is brain dead.

Andy treats the running back Chad who has several compound fractions in his leg. A doctor recommend they perform a below the knee amputation. Chad says he wants to keep the leg for a chance to play again, but Andy informs him he will probably not be able to use it. Chad says he lives with his big sister.
