Back in the mansion, Lexi finds Damon in bed with her. She says she is there just for Stefan's birthday. Damon tells her she is mean to him. Lexi tells Damon she is older and stronger than he is and asks him not to ruin her time with Stefan.

Grams learns that Bonnie is moving out of her parent's house. She tells her to wear the necklace since it belonged to her ancestor. She explains the talisman is a powerful tool.

Back home, Jenna tells Elena that Logan broke up with her through email. Jeremy tells them to keep it down since he has homework. The girls are surprised he is becoming responsible.

Meanwhile, Damon brings a package to Sheriff Forbes. He lies and says Zack filled him in on their plan and asked him to bring her verbane. He asks if it is enough and she says the Council consists of all of the founding families and several city officials. She worries her facts are wrong and suspects the vampires can roam around during the daytime. She says they have to look at the people who are new in town. Damon says he will do anything he can to help her.

The next morning, Bonnie finds Elena depressed and in bed. Elena confesses she broke up with Stefan. Elena asks her to help get her mind off things. Bonnie closes the window, cuts Elena's feather pillow and asks her to swear to secrecy. She shows that she can make the feathers dance using telekinesis. She explains her grandma showed her the trick because she is a witch.

Caroline tells Damon she is done being her slave. Damon uses his power to make her like him again. He orders her to throw a party and invite a lot of friends. He orders her to get his crystal back from Bonnie.
