After practice, Tyler finds Vicki inside his car. She says she feels cold, but Tyler suspects she is on drugs. She tells him she feels scared since she can't control her hunger. Her teeth extend as she attacks Tyler, but Stefan pulls Vicki off of him before she can bite. Damon grabs Tyler and commands him to forget they were there, then tosses him across the parking lot. Stefan, Damon and Vicki disappear.

The next morning, Elena notices that Jeremy is up early. He tells Elena he is going to skip school to volunteer to look for Vicki. Vicki calls Matt and tells him she needs some time to figure things out.

At the mansion, Vicki asks Stefan why she can't just go home. Damon goes through the paper and discovers the story about him murdering Logan was covered up. Damon plays with the compass he took from Logan. Vicki says she needs something and Stefan gives Vicki a cup full of animal blood. Damon suggests she drink human blood instead so she can then use her power to force people to forget what she did. He says she should follow the pattern of snatch, eat, then erase.

Elena arrives at the mansion and asks Damon if she can see Stefan. Elena figures if he wanted her dead, she would be already. Elena asks Stefan where Vicki is since Jeremy is looking for her all over town. Stefan says since Vicki is a drug user, she has more issues than a normal vampire. Vicki comes down from her room and asks how long she has to stay in the house.

Bonnie visits her grandma who says her ancestors hid their powers for hundreds of years. She says most people think her powers are a joke, but they are real. She instructs Bonnie to understand witchcraft she practices it.
