Jeremy tells Jenna he found a journal written by Jonathan Gilbert. He explains he wrote about demons. Jenna gives Jeremy one of his books. Damon convinces Caroline to use the compass to locate a vampire. Damon appears, instructs her to go home just before he enters the building. Inside, Logan shoots Damon several times. Logan explains he is using wooden bullets. Logan tells him he made him what he is now. He says he woke up and found himself buried behind a used car dealership. Damon explains he must have gotten vampire blood in him from another vampire. Logan says he can't go home and can't stop thinking about blood. Damon welcomes him to the club. Logan admits he has been hiding the bodies in the building, but forgot one since he was tired.

At the school career fair, Forbes tells Mayor Lockwood that she doesn't have any updates. She says crowded places are probably the safest place for them and their children. Jeremy is surprised to see Tyler there and his artwork. Elena and Matt talk about Caroline. He says they are just friends just before Stefan walks in.

At the building, Logan says he feels over emotional. He admits he can't stop thinking about Jenna. He admits the journals the Council has doesn't mention the vampire's ability to walk in the sun and asks how he does it. Damon asks him who turned him. Damon says he has things to do, then shoots him several times before leaving.

Back at school, Stefan says he wanted to be a doctor before he was turned. He says he dabbled in things while at schools and loved everything he did. He say he had to move on before people noticed he wasn't aging. Stefan asks her if she has plans for the future, but she doesn't want to think about it since he is not going to be part of it. She asks him to leave now if he is going at all. Jenna walks in and says Logan is there. Stefan is surprised since Damon killed him. Logan waves at Stefan in the hallway.

Logan asks Jenna if she is avoiding him. Stefan instructs Elena and Jenna to leave them alone. Logan asks Stefan how they can walk freely during the day. He says it would be easy for him to expose him to the public. Stefan says he can't walk under the sun. Elena asks Jenna what Logan said when she saw him. She says he was manic and tried to convince her to let him in. Elena orders her not to talk to Logan again. Alric arrives and talks to Jenna. Damon calls Stefan and says he was shot by Logan. After Stefan says Logan is there, Damon says he will be right over.

Forbes is surprised that Caroline in broadcasting journalism. Forbes is shocked that Logan is there. He gets angry and says he can't believe he was swept under the rug. Forbes says she knows he is one of them. Logan tells her to watch her back.

Jeremy tells Tyler he was impressed with his art. After Tyler says they also have screwing the same chick in common, they get in a fight. Mayor Lockwood grabs and takes them out to talk.

Logan sees Caroline at the parking lot and offers her to give her a ride. Caroline says it is fate since she is interested in broadcast journalism. After Logan tells her to buckle up, he slams her head into the window and knocks her out.
