During recess, Alicia asks Carol if she needs anything. Carol shows Alicia a box of letters from other people who had side effects from the drug that Ray took. She tells Alicia that the victims are counting on them.

James asks Ray if he is only suing the pharmaceutical because they have money. As Alicia digs for files, she notices a piece of paper with twelve circles. One of the circles has an X on it with a note of $35,000. Alicia figures that one of the jury members is going to be bribed.

During recess, Alicia asks Kalinda to look into the piece of paper. She examines it and figures that it was written on a piece of a bar menu. They go to the bar and find James and his team dining there.

Later, Alicia shows Diane and Will the paper. They wonder if James wants a mistrial or if he is messing with them. Diane says that there is a new paralegal that she is suspicious of. Will asks them to look into it. Alicia asks if she can help find the bribed juror.

Alicia and Kalinda meet with a jury selection specialist to look over the profiles. After the specialist admits that she uses racial stereotypes to profile a juror named Tober, Kalinda tells her that she is not needed. Kalinda explains that the specialist is paid too much for what she does. Kalinda suspects a juror named Marilyn Wolk could have claimed financial hardship, but didn't. Kalinda asks Marilyn's and Tober's neighbors about the jurors. Kalinda learns that Marilyn just came across some money and bought a new car.

In court, James asks Carol how many times they have sex before and after Ray's stroke. Carol admits that Ray is not completely paralyzed from the waist down. Later, Alicia gets a call from Daniel who asks her about the Kozko letters. Alicia says that she hasn't looked yet. Daniel says that she is looking to get a scholarship for her kids. Alicia tells him that she doesn't need his help.

Kalinda follows Wolk's husband and finds that he works as a security guard in McCloon's building.
