At Colin's trial, Judge Stanck notices that the plaintiff's attorney is not at the desk. From the stands, a woman named Nancy says since the normal attorney is sick, Charlotte asked her to represent her. Charlotte says she has known Nancy for a long time and she trusts her. Alicia requests they have the case made into a bench trial. Nancy takes a moment and states she thinks it would be fairer for a cross section of the public to view the evidence. Stanck agrees and decides to have a jury hear the case.

Peter and Daniel calls in Matan who worked with Peter in the States Attorney's office. Peter tells that Glenn made him into an errand boy, but Matan says he lost respect for Peter. Glenn enters the room and figures Peter wanted Matan and him to bump into each other. Matan insists he is not going to work with Peter's side.

Will and Alicia go to Colin's apartment which has several large manga pictures depicting graphic and violent scenes of women. Will tells Alicia it will be weird when Peter returns. Will tells Colin they will need to make him more likable by putting him on the stand. Colin admits he constantly fought with Caroline. He says even though he has fetishes with multiple sexual partners, he was in love with Caroline. Alicia reports that the day that Caroline went missing, she became upset after she learned that Colin withdrew hundreds of thousands of dollars. She says there was rumors that Caroline wanted to kick him out of the company. Colin figures he is not going to be a very good witness because he can't help being snarky. Colin insists he didn't kill his wife.
