Lois imagines that she leaves Clark in bed to stare out the window. Clark tells Lois he wishes they had more time. At work, Clark sees that Lois is daydreaming. She says she has two weeks worth of work to catch up on. A delivery man asks for Lois's signature. They see that the man dropped off a large crate with a bow on top. After Lois and Clark pry open the box, they see several men with their mouths taped. They explain they are all undercover cops posing as drug dealers. They look outside and see the Blur's symbol on a building.

Lois says she might be losing faith in the Blur. The paper editor tells the team that Sacks the DA is angry about what the Blur did. Clark suggests they cover both sides of the story.

Lois leaves and meets with a therapist who asks her to talk about the dreams she has been having. Lois describes the dreams as being very realistic. She remembers having a lot of sex with Clark. The therapist tells Lois she wants to uncover her dreams' true meaning. Lois says she feels like Clark is hiding something from her. Lois gets a call from the Blur, but she ignores it. The therapist says she thinks Lois still has feeling towards the Blur, but Lois says he is ancient history. The therapist suggests she focus on the man in front of her.
