Clark returns to his house and calls for Shelby. Chloe appears and tells Clark that Lois stopped by and saw that Shelby was alone. She tells him that he is being sloppy and if Lois would have seen him she would have figured out that he was the Blur. Chloe confirms that Clark has been talking to Lois. She tells him to complete his training with Jor-El before anyone else gets hurt.

John goes to the hospital where Doctor Hamilton sees that he has a bionic heart that is powered by a meteorite. John gets angry and shoves Hamilton and another doctor across the room. John panics then flees.

Tess practices fighting in her mansion. Lois walks in and asks her why she is so physical. Tess realizes that Lois doesn't remember that they fought. Lois says that she doesn't want to leave the Daily Planet. Tess informs her that she was fired. Lois threatens to take a story of her trying to take over the world to another paper. Lois says that she is going back to work at the Planet. Stewart arrives and tells Tess that he thinks he knows where the missing Kryptonians are hiding.

Clark visits Dr. Hamilton at his office. Hamilton tells Clark about a bionic man who was built against his will. He says that the man's new body is being powered by a meteorite. He explains that the meteorite makes him unstable by intensifying his strength and emotions. He says that if the meteorite stays in him for a while, he might become homicidal. Hamilton tells Clark that the man dropped a Daily Planet keychain. Clark figures that he works there.

Meanwhile, John stumbles through the street barefoot. He sees the picture of Becka on top of a storm drain. He picks it up and goes to the boiler room of a building. He talks to himself and determines that his new body is a gift. He figures that with his newfound power, he can now kill the Blur.
