Rachel talks to both Violet and Charlotte about her husband. She explains that Shimmon has been eating more often. Charlotte figures that her husband is going through the Couvade, which is causing him to produce estrogen. Rachel says that she can't use birth control and doesn't want to have any more kids. She asks if they can have the couvade occur longer. Later, Cooper suggests they bring in Shimmon to discuss what is going on. Before they look to Cooper, Violet and Charlotte figure that Shimmon will want to talk to a guy more than them.

Addison's dad flirts with Violet after he returns to the practice with Addison.

Sam arrives at the house and asks Maya about the boy he was with. Naomi says she didn't even give her permission to have a boyfriend. Maya says that she thinks things would be different if Naomi had a boyfriend. Sam instructs Maya to go upstairs and pack a bag. Sam tells Naomi that he will take care of Maya for a couple days.

Addison tells Eleanor and that their baby's cranial pressure is increasing. Addison explains that they have to perform a septostomy or terminate the baby.

Addison's dad has sex with Violet. She asks him if she minds her scar. After she says she can't look at it, he tells her it is a reminder that she survived her attack. He tells her she has the right to do what ever she wants. Violet says she is afraid that Addison is going to hate her. Addison's dad says that he isn't emotionally close to Addison. Violet suggests he visit Addison more while he is in town.

Naomi tells Addison that Maya is being stupid. Addison tells Noami that Captain doesn't know how to spend time with her. Addison tells Naomi that she is doing the right thing. Captain walks in and asks Addison if he can watch her operate on Eleanor.

Cooper meets with Shimmon who tells him that they can't use birth control since they follow the Torah. Cooper suggests they do something that doesn't include birth control.

Addison asks Violet if she thinks her dad can change, but before she can get an answer, Addison gets a call. Violet confesses to Charlotte that she slept with Captain. Cooper tells the women that they need to speak to a Rabbi.

Naomi tells Sam that Maya's boyfriend Dink had his hands all over their daughter.

Ronnie tells Eleanor that they shouldn't have to operate. He tells her that he loves her more and can't think about losing her. Eleanor says after she is gone, he will have the baby to remind him of their time together. Addison says that she thinks she can give him both a child and his wife.

Charlotte tells Cooper that Violet slept with Addison's father. She asks him where they are in their relationship and he says he doesn't know.

As Addison operates, Pete tells Captain that he learned not to second guess her. After her dad asks Pete if he has a thing with Addison, he says he was with Violet. Addison successfully operates on the baby.

The Rabbi tells the team that Judaism promotes sex for pleasure. They ask him if there is loop hole for using birth control, but he says the couple seems like they want to follow the letter of the law. In the hallway, Captain commends Addison on her work. She asks him to have drinks later.

Maya tells Sam that Dink is a cool guy. Sam asks her to make a deal with her to be honest with him.

Addison tells Naomi that her dad watched her work and said her work was elegant. Naomi admits that Violet slept with Captain. She says she couldn't not tell her. Pete suggests to Addison she relax and have a drink. Peter gets a call about Eleanor. At the hospital, they learn that she is having stomach pains. They see that fluid is draining out of her uterus. Addison brings Eleanor into the operating room.

Violet, Charlotte and Cooper go over contraceptives to suggest to Shimmon and Rachel. Cooper admits he knows that Violet slept with the Captain. Charlotte suggests they administer estrogen without saying it is birth control.

After successfully operating on Eleanor, Addison informs Pete that her father slept with Violet.

At home, Sam sees that Maya is throwing a party involving alcohol. Sam tells Dink to go home and all of Maya's friends that the party is over.

The next day, Pete bumps into Violet in the elevator. Violet tells him that things happen. She admits that she is not ashamed. Pete says he doesn't care what she does anymore.

Violet, Cooper, and Charlotte meet with Shimmon and Rachel and tell them that their choice is personal. Violet gives Rachel estrogen pills and explains it will help with her anemia. Rachel takes the pills and brings her kids home.

Addison asks Violet what she said to the Captain to convince him to cheat on her mother. Violet says the Captain was kind and caring and the first person to make her feel normal.

Sam drives to Naomi's house and tells Maya to get out of his car. He tells her to apologize to her mom. He warns her that Naomi will kill her if she acts up again. Sam tells Naomi that they have to stay tough with their daughter.

Addison tells her dad that Violet is different since she is damaged. She says that she doesn't understand how he can be so kind to every woman except for her and her mom. Captain calls Bizzy and tells her to tell their daughter the truth.
