Addison and Sam hike up a hill. Addison says she is upset that society expects people to be paired up and married. She says she spent last night with her cat and sushi. She says she needs sex. As she describes kissing, Sam instructs her to stop talking. Sam asks her to think about what would have happened if she agreed to go out during med school. Before she can answer, they hear a man scream. They discover a man with a large wound in his side. He tells them his car crashed and his wife is in it. Addison runs towards the car and sees it is on the side of the hill. She checks the passenger's pulse and sees she is still alive. Addison realizes the woman, Kara, is pregnant. Kara says her arm is stuck and her fingers are tingly. She says she has been there since yesterday. Kara says she is due that day.

Back at the clinic, Cooper sees a group of men enter. They say that their friend Brendon got married. Brendon says he took several pills and had an erection for three hours.
