I am really glad that Addison got a cat. I think that most shows improve after one of the characters gets one. It gives the character who receives it a new dimension that a lot of people can relate to. For example, Kyra Sedgwick's character got one in The Closer, one of my favorite shows. The cat was old and grumpy, but she loved her until she died. The life of the animal provided cute moments and an emotional ending that led to her considering having a child with her husband. I look forward to see Addison's interaction with her cat.
