Naomi and Addison call Zoe into the office. Naomi apologizes, but Zoe says she doesn't want to hear it. Naomi says Amelia approached her and knew there is something going on. Naomi says after they found out about the switch, she was only there to give them all the options and she is the one who ultimately decided. Zoe says both babies are hers. She says if she tells Amelia the truth, she might overreact and lose the baby. Addison says she can operate. Naomi tells Zoe that she should either decide to have the surgery or terminate the baby.

Cooper arrives and is told by Sam that he brought Charlotte in the practice. Cooper goes to Charlotte's new office and learns she is going to treat sexual dysfunction. Cooper is critical of her new specialty. Cooper meets with Violet and asks her why Katie's father came to see her. Violet says he wanted her to meet with Katie so she did. She says she wanted to rip out Katie's lungs out, but she didn't. Violet says Katie wants her to testify in behalf of her. Violet confesses she hasn't decided what to do. Cooper tells her to do what is best for her personally.

Addison, Zoe, and Naomi tell Amelia about her baby. Amelia starts to breathe heavily and says she is light headed. Amelia thanks Zoe for trying. Addison suggests they should terminate the baby and Amelia agrees. Amelia starts to panic and is forced to breathe in oxygen. Addison treats Amelia and tells her she should be fine now. Amelia says she wants to be strong for Zoe. Zoe changes her mind and wants to have the surgery. She says she realizes that Amelia is putting her life in danger for her and she wants to do the same.

Later that night, Sam, Pete and Cooper have drinks at the bar. Cooper says that Charlotte is going to practice sexology, but Sam says he already knew. Cooper asks the bartender if he would be okay if his doctor told him she wanted to be a sexologist. Later, Cooper takes a cab and arrives home drunk. He tells Charlotte she is really good at what she does and should put it to good use. Cooper says he isn't sure how he should introduce her to other people. Charlotte pushes him off the bed.

As Addison scrubs in for surgery, she tells Noami she is not sure if she will succeed. Later, Amelia tells Naomi that she is always panicked. Naomi apologizes for accidentally switching the embryos. Amelia says she has never been closer to anyone other than Zoe. Addison arrives and announces that Zoe is fine, but she couldn't save the baby.

Amelia meets with Zoe and tells her that what happened is not her fault. Amelia tells her that Michael, Zoe's baby, is still kicking inside her. Martin, Zoe's estranged husband, arrives which upsets Amelia. Zoe admits she called him. Amelia leaves and tells Naomi she wants to keep her baby because he is all she has.
