Dan dreams about getting a heart transplant in Mexico. He wakes up screaming and Rachel tells him he was just having a nightmare.

Haley and Brooke make Julian and Nate go on a camping trip with the guys. Melvin tells Skills the camping trip is going to be fun. Julian shows Brooke all his supplies while Nate tells Jamie and Chuck to pack light. They guys all load up in the car and drive off to the woods. They guys set up camp, but Julian has difficulty with his tent.

Clayton sees Sara swimming in his pool. She tells him it's not normal to skip a weekend with the guys to spend time with his dead wife. He tells her he could never love anyone as much as he loved her.

Quinn makes brownies for Haley and Brooke. Quinn confesses to Brooke that the brownies are 'special', but says Haley doesn't know there is weed baked inside. After Haley eats a few treats, Quinn lets Haley in on the special ingredient. Haley gets upset, but Quinn tells her to relax. Brooke reminds Haley that Nate and Jamie are gone for the weekend and she needs to mellow out. After the brownies take effect, the ladies watch a movie. Quinn teases Haley for being chatty and Brooke for being paranoid.

Rachel tells Dan their ratings are up. Dan suggests they get Lucas to do a guest spot. Rachel asks if Dan is upset that Nate hasn't called and he says he didn't expect him to call. Dan takes the stage and tells the audience to confess the truth. He sees a young man who bleeds through his shirt and passes out.

The guys hike through the woods. Melvin tells Julian he'll have to answer to him if he breaks Brooke's heart. Nate asks Jamie how he feels about everything that has happened. Jamie says he knew Dan would save him again. He asks Nate if he is going to forgive Dan. They get to a zip line and Jamie starts to have second thoughts. Julian sees that Jamie is nervous and says he wants to take the trail instead. Jamie gleefully agrees to go with Julian.

Dan tells Rachel about his vision. He says he thought his heart was going to burst out of his chest. She tells him he is fine. She remembers when he was about to have surgery and his book was becoming a success. They then talk about what they should do for sweeps. Dan wants to come clean, but Rachel tells him he will take away people's faith in him.

Clayton asks Sara if she felt pain when she died. She says no and he says he did feel pain. She tells him that being miserable won't change anything. Clayton says he hasn't told anyone about her. She tells him that it may help him to tell someone.

Haley cleans out the fridge while Brooke asks Quinn about Clay. Quinn says there is nothing going on, but her psychic told her it wasn't the right time to have an emotional entanglement. Quinn and Haley decide they need to get the psychic at the house immediately, despite Brooke's objections. She then sits with Quinn and tells her that there is a man in her life that is struggling. Zelda then goes to leave, but tells them that they are not alone in the house before she goes. Quinn leaves next, saying she didn't have any brownies. Haley and Brooke start to panic as a storm causes the lights to go out. Haley and Brooke decide to use a Ouiji board to find out about the spirit in the house.
