Dan starts a commercial shoot, but finds out the ad campaign was canceled.

Brooke starts to seduce Julian. He tells her he would love to, but Alex is on her way over to work. Brooke is annoyed and is still convinced that Alex is trying to move in on him.

Quinn finds Clayton running on the beach. The two talk about her fear of sharks. He gets a call from Nathan and agrees to meet him. She snaps his picture as he runs away.

Millie wakes up and panics that she forgot to call Marvin. Alex tells her she texted him from her phone to let him know she was safe. Millie reads the text and sees she called him Melvin and a tool. Millie runs to meet with Marvin to apologize. She tells him she was celebrating her new modeling job. He says he wishes he was the one she wanted to celebrate with.

Haley confronts Nathan about the cell phone bill showing Renee's number. Nate angrily walks off. He tells her that women get a hold of his number and call him all the time. He tells her he always tells them he is happily married and asks them to stop calling. Clayton arrives and tells Nate he is losing some of his advertising deals. He says the Bobcats are also using the scandal to their advantage while negotiating his contract. He tells Nate and Haley to have faith that it will turn out for the best. Haley chases Clay down and makes him promise Nate will still have a career when it's all over.

Dan tells Renee he wants her to tell her story on his show. He tells her he was in Nathan's situation once and regrets not accepting his child as his own. He says by supporting her, he will force Nathan to take responsibility. He says he has made peace with the fact that Nate will never forgive him.

Millie meets with Brooke and apologizes for being late. Millie is annoyed that another assistant is taking over her job. Brooke tells her not to worry about that anymore since she is now a model.

Marvin learns about Nathan losing his endorsements at work. Marvin tells his coworker to tell the boss he will be back later.

Clay returns to meet with Quinn on the beach. The two sit and he tells her he recently went off the rails and is in Tree Hill to regain his balance. Quinn tells him they have a lot in common. He tells her he has to go because he promised Nathan he wouldn't spend time with her. He tells her she is great, then leaves.

Alex grows impatient with Julian's non-response while reading her script. He tells her it's genuinely good and asks where it came from. Alex admits she was inspired by Millie. Julian tells her he has to meet with Brooke, but he will meet back up with her later. She tells him it's a date and he reminds her it is just work.

Haley tells Nate they should give money to Renee so she will issue a retraction. Nate refuses to give her a dime.

Brooke finds Chase in her store and he says he is looking for a gift for Mia. He asks about Julian and Brooke says she is annoyed by his work with Alex. Chase tells her not to worry. Brooke then asks him to help her out.

Marvin asks Nate about the endorsements and he says it's true. Marvin admits he is being demoted until he does a story on him. Nate tells Marvin to do the story.

Alex tells Millie that Julian asked her to be in a relationship with him. Millie points out that he only wants a working relationship. Millie says she was good at her job and isn't sure she wants to be a model.

Haley calls Renee and asks what she will get if she agrees to pay her. Renee tells her the price for a retraction has gone up to $250,000.

Julian meets with Brooke and sees her measuring Chase's inseam. Julian pulls her aside and asks why she is with her ex. She tells him it is because Julian wasn't available. Brooke tells him she decided to make mens clothes. Julian tells her he will take his clothes off for her and she can send Chase home. Brooke tells him that she is going to stick with Chase.

Marvin tells the station manager he wants to be back on the air. Marvin says he has a direct quote from Nate and the manager welcomes him back.
