Julian finds Brooke watching the set of Lucas's childhood bedroom get painted and talks to her about the costume design for the movie. Brooke asks Julian to go to a high school fundraiser dance with her, but he explains that he is too busy with his movie.

Quinn hears Kylie trying to enter Clay's house and tells her to go away. Kylie insults Quinn, then heads to her car. Quinn then dumps her smoothie on the Kylie's head.

Junk and Fergie try to find a date for Marvin on the internet. They find a match and see she lives in Tree Hill. Marvin tells them it's a bad idea, but they proceed with setting up the date.

Nate wakes up in Clay's car and asks where the are. Clay tells Nate that he drove in the wrong direction and are about 100 miles away from Tree Hill. Clay starts the car to head home, but drives over a razor strip and punctures the tires. Nate tells Clay that he had a reason he needed to be home.

Haley wakes up and announces her entrance, but no one responds. Jamie requests breakfast and Haley asks if he has anything else to say to her. Haley realizes that everyone forgot her birthday. Meanwhile, Junk and Fergie get a text from Haley asking about Jamie.

Nate calls Haley to explain his situation, but ends up leaving a voicemail. Clay tells Nate that they are stuck in the small town for the night. Nate's phone battery dies and he asks to use Clay's, but Clay says he left it in the car, which was towed away.

Julian asks Alex about the script. Alex asks Julian why he didn't accept Brooke's invitation to the dance, then suggests that he should go.
