One of the security guards explains he was able to tackle Emma, who was dressed as a gunmen, then handcuff her. He suspects one of her men shot her. He explains the gunmen went into the high security data center called the farm just after the power went down. McGee explains to Gibbs that the farm is what connects the internet to the users. They see an iris scanner and take photographs. After McGee says his camera battery is out, Gibbs gives him an old camera. Ziva announces they might be without power for days.

McGee says he learned Emma was a booking agent for the Armed Forces Entertainment. Tony suspects Emma was going to rob the IP company. They see Emma married her high school sweetheart Anthony. Ziva brings in a sketch of the gunmen. The team tries to use their electronics, but realizes they are all down.

Abby tells Gibbs she is upset her equipment is not receiving the backup power and that she is unable to get her caffeine fix. Abby says she has to run the tire track found at the scene by hand which will take a long time.
