I liked the idea of showing Hetty meeting with Senators to secure funding, but I think they didn't go far enough. I think they should have shown one scene with her in the Senate chamber. Renko's statement that he is staying with a friend leads me to believe that he is secretly seeing Kensi. It seems like he knew her even better than Nate did even though this is his first episode on the L.A. side. They appeared to have chemistry on the field and I would imagine they have it outside of work.
