Chloe gets a text from Petey who wants to meet her at restaurant later. Sonia tells Veronica it is quitting time. Clowden tells Veronica she regrets sending her to help Harris.

Ryan rushes to the hospital and says he thinks he knows who sent the whore flyers. They say that Chloe is meeting with Petey now, but Ryan says he is at work. Ryan realizes that Chloe is in trouble since Petey is married. He asks them to warn Chloe since firemen's wives are scary.

Petey's wife meets with Chloe and tells her to stop banging her husband. Chloe is surprised by the news. Several other women arrive and surround Chloe. Sonia and Veronica arrive and pull Chloe away. After Petey's wife calls her a whore, Chloe says she didn't know Petey was married. Since they are making a scene, an employee asks them to calm down. Veronica tells Petey's wife that her husband is a whore. Sonia warns the women that Veronica came back from Iraq and will kill them. Petey's wife says she is lucky since she just got her acrylics done.

Veronica and take Chloe to the bar. Veronica says nobody messes with her. Chloe says she thinks she was falling in love with Petey. Sonia suggests sleeping with Petey's best friend to get back at him, but Chloe says his best friend is Ryan. Sonia says in a few weeks her situation will be a funny story. After Chloe asks for an explanation, Veronica says Petey is a douche. Veronica says she hasn't taken a pregnancy test and will be scared either way.

Gillian gets disappointed as she waits outside for people to show up for her bike to work event. Chris rides his bike in and says he wants to tell Veronica about them.

Sonia walks in Ashley's room, sees she is dressed up and says she looks beautiful. Ashley says she is a freak and the school won't let a girl with a penis win the crown. She admits she always knew something was wrong with her. Sonia tells her it is up to her to decide whether or not she wants to be a girl. Ashley says she hates her dress and makeup. As she starts to rip off her clothes, Ashley's parents walk in and wonder Sonia what she is doing with their daughter.

As Ben starts to crash, Julie says they are prepared to let him go. As he V-Fib's, Harris asks for the paddles. The family starts to chant to wish Ben goodbye. Veronica, Chris and Harris continue to work on Ben, but he flat lines. Veronica suggests they use a pace maker to jump start Ben's heart. They insert the wire, activate it and bring Ben back to life. Julie thanks the doctors for their work. After Veronica commends Harris, she passes out.

Outside, Petey brings Chloe a bouquet of yellow flowers. He says he was going to tell her the truth, but didn't know how. He admits he was falling in love with her. He says he is already separated emotionally with his wife. Chloe says she won't let him break her heart again and says yellow roses means infidelity.

Ashley's parents tell Sonia and Clowden that their daughter is refusing to have surgery. They accuse Sonia of messing with their daughter's head. Clowden informs them the problem is between them and their daughter. Sonia says Ashley has to live with her decision for the rest of her life and should have time to decide.

Veronica wakes up and sees Chris at her bedside. Veronica confesses she is pregnant with Mike. Chris says he did a blood panel when she passed out and didn't see she was pregnant. Chris apologizes, but Veronica says it would be a bad time to have a baby. Chris says there is nothing physical wrong with her. He asks her who Ben Shin reminds her of. He admits his situation brought him back to Iraq. Veronica figures she is suffering from PTSD. Veronica notices that Chris is wearing a bike to work shirt, asks if he is sleeping with Gillian, then realizes he is. Veronica says Gillian seems really nice, then walks away.

Harris asks Veronica if she is alright. He says Ben has stabilized and will be off the ventilator in a few days.

Mike comes home, plays a message from Veronica, and learns Veronica had a false alarm. She says it is probably for the best since a kid would be complicated. She tells him he doesn't have to call back and apologizes for making him worry. Veronica goes to the maternity ward and holds a baby.
