Veronica complains to Harris about calling the cops on her. Sands brings in a patient Mr. Whitlow who was in an accident. He says he doesn't want to undergo surgery until his pregnant wife arrives.

Sonia examines Trevor, the man who jumped off the fire escape. He says he sleep walks and can't believe she saw him naked. Sonia asks him if he has tried pajamas, but he says they feel constricting. He says he should be an astronomer, but is being held back by his problem. Sonia notices a scar on his back.

Veronica finds Carrie Whitlow and informs her that her husband is there. Carrie says she never separates from her husband and she is nervous because this is her first pregnancy. She asks Veronica to stay with her.

Veronica arrives at the OR and tells Mr. Whitlow that his wife and baby are fine. Whitlow tells the surgeons to proceed with his operation.

Nurse Clowden tells Veronica that she has a problem with Harris. She says she will have a disciplinary hearing later with Dr. Hamecher.Chloe meets Ryan at the fire department. He says they will ride in the back after they get a call. A man named Pete gives Chloe a waiver to sign. Ryan says Veronica told him if one of her girls gets hurt, she will have his head. Chloe is happy to hear that Veronica referred to her as one of her girls.

Sonia tells Veronica that she admires her standing up to Harris, but her support stops at the cinder block. They see Trevor walk around the hospital naked. Sonia goes to wake him, but Angel stops her. Trevor's mom arrives, bangs some pans together, then tells Trevor to go back to bed.
