Sonia brings Valentino some breakfast. He says he just got in and needs to sleep. After Sonia says his work is ruining her sex life, Valentino offers to have a quickie, but she declines. Sonia asks Valentino to get his gun off of the table since she hates them.

Klowden informs Angel and Veronica that there are two students they need to care for who have viral infections. After Veronica and Angel ask the patients, Lily and Samantha, if they have been intimate with anyone, they learn that Lily secretly slept with Samantha's boyfriend Nathan.

Chris introduces Sonia to his patient Harold who has a failing hand after he received it as a donor. Harold explains he stopped taking anti-rejection drugs since he found out the hand belonged to a pedophile. He asks Chris to cut it off.

Lily shows Samantha her latest tweet which details her pain. Nathan is brought in the room after getting a spinal tap. Veronica tells Nathan he can't sleep in Samantha's room. Angel compares Lily, Nathan and Samantha's situation to Veronica's since they are all in love triangles. Veronica insists she is just a dot and Gillian and Chris make a line, but Angel is not convinced.

Harris and Chloe visit with a nearlywed named Craig and Charra. Harris informs Charra she has a blood cell count and symptoms which might indicate a flu. After Charra says she feels bloated, Craig adds she lost twenty pounds recently. Harris examines her and sees there is some fluid build up.
