What I can't believe hasn't happened yet is that still haven't shown Riley with her kids or any evidence of school work at the apartment. This fact discredits her being a real teacher. It seems like the idea of this show was more important than the details. The drama doesn't seem to make any sense. The police investigation over Sydney's seems unrealistic since they have no real suspects or leads. It appears that although this is Rodriguez's only case (which is unlikely), he is terrible at what he does. Hopefully, Heather Locklear's arrival will revitalize the series, but I doubt it since she will only be involved with Ella's life. If it was up to me, I would cut out the rest of the characters and just focus on those two.
