This was a brutal case. I liked the absence of pedophile cases on SVU recently. I guess the show had to remind us why they squad was formed in the first place, to defend innocent children and other victims. Rosie Perez did a great job as the mother. Hopefully, this role will bring in more work after producers recognize her ability to be more than a out of control Latina. She showed she can be hurt.
