People arrive at a church for mass. A man is suddenly shot in the back of his head. Kevin and Cyrus arrive to investigate. They find the victim was wearing a bulletproof vest. The priest said his eyes were closed and he didn't see who killed Dr. Benning. He says the doctor was an abortionist, explaining their church is tolerant and Benning had been attending services there for a long time.

Kevin and Cyrus talk to Benning's wife. She says she begged him to stop the abortions, but he believed he was doing the Lord's work. She tells them that a man shot at her husband earlier at his clinic. Anita arrives and assures her they will find her husband's killer. Anita tells the detectives to look for suspects.

The detectives go to the doctor's clinic and talk to the security guard about the protestors, Mission for Life. They talk to the nurse at the clinic and ask about the late term abortions Benning provided. She says the law is on their side and she is proud to help women. She says now they may have to close the clinic since Benning is dead. Cyrus asks about messages from a guy named John who's girlfriend was scheduled for a procedure.

Anita meets with her doctor and learns ther has been no shrinkage of her tumor. Anita asks to try something stronger. The doctor says the side affects will be harsher and Anita says bring it on.

Kevin and Cyrus meet with John. Cyrus asks if he is Christian and John says yes. Cyrus points out that he was having sex before marriage. John says he is against murder, but since their baby had a genetic disorder he told Blair to have the abortion. Kevin and Cyrus argue about their stand on the issue. Kevin thinks abortion is wrong, but Cyrus says it's not for them to decide. Kevin says his mom tried to abort him, but failed.

Kevin and Cyrus then meet with Blair, who is still pregnant. She says her baby will be born with severe abnormalities. She says her father really wanted her to have the baby, but she has no one to help her take care of it.

The detectives meet with Blair's father Kevin and find out Blair's baby is going to have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome where it's skin is so delicate even the slightest touch could cause tearing. He says he told Blair he would help her give the baby the care it will need. He points out that Blair is 28 weeks and the baby is no longer a fetus. He admits he called Benning, but denies killing him.

Kevin and Cyrus see Kevin drives a blue sedan similar to the one described as the one the first shooter was driving. They bring Kevin to the station and he says he just wanted to talk to Benning, but the clinic wouldn't let him in. He says there were so many crazy protesters there that he got scared and went home. He says one of the protesters thought he was a doctor and threatened him. Kevin asks what the man said to him. Kevin says the man told him not to worry.

The detectives go to Mission for Life and ask about the man Kevin described. They say the man is not affiliated with them. The leader, Roger Jenkins, says they want to catch the shooter as much as they do because they believe in non violence. A woman finally admits the man's name is Wayne and he bragged about getting arrested.
