At the '80's party, Cutty sees that House is wearing a wig from 1780. House explains the party wasn't specific. A doctor asks Cutty if she would like to dance, but House says he would like to. While the DJ plays Cyndi Lauper's Time after Time, House and Cutty get close to dance. House reminds Cutty that the last time they danced it was during med school. Cutty says she remembered first meeting him at the school book store. They reminisce about the their college years. House explains he was going to call her to hook up, but after he was expelled he didn't think there was any point. Cutty excuses herself and returns to her room.

In their room, House wakes up after Wilson's phone rings. House looks at his clock, sees that it is seven in the morning and says there better be someone who died. Wilson announces his patient at the hospital just died. Wilson says he wished he was there. House says his night didn't go as planned. He explains that Cutty left after he told her he was always interested in her. House asks Wilson if he predicted his patient was going to die that weekend. He opens Wilson's computer and sees that he is working on a presentation about euthanasia.

At the hospital, they examine the hotel surveillance footage. They see Jordan enter an elevator with Jeffrey's journal and figure she wanted an excuse to knock on his door.

Wilson tries to defend his position on euthanasia to House. House suggests he keep his thoughts anonymous since hospitals don't want to hire a murderer.

Chase and Cameron visit Jeffrey at his hotel room and ask him if Jordan visited him. They ask him to search his room since they know Jordan brought him his journal. Jeffrey slams the door in their faces. Chase tells Cameron that it would be crazy for Jeffrey to risk his marriage for a one night stand with a teenager. Cameron asks if he thinks people would risk marriage for something more serious. Chase says he is not having an affair, but Cameron says she was talking about Jeffrey. Cameron wonders if Jeffrey gave Jordan several roofies which caused her to overdose.

Wilson finds Cutty feeding her baby. He asks how the party was and Cutty figures House talked to him. Cutty says since she is a mother, she needs someone she can count on every single day, which is not House.

Foreman reports that Jordan did not take roofies and she is bleeding behind her kidneys. Cameron wonders if Jeffrey gave Jordan something and suggests they administer a drug to make her tell the truth.

Wilson finds House in the room consuming several food amenities that will go on his hotel bill. House asks him to join him. Before he offers him some soda, he informs him about studies that show people better enjoy $10 wine after they were told it cost $90. He explains the same is true with the grape soda. Wilson tells House that Cutty doesn't think he is reliable and suggests he start showing he is by babysitting her baby. Wilson starts to slur as he talks and figures House drugged him. Wilson says Cutty is better off without him just before he passes out.

After Cameron administers the truth serum, she asks Jordan what happened the other night. Jordan says she returned Jeffrey's journal and told him how much his work meant to her. He let her in and showed her some pictures. Jeffrey gave her what he said was ecstasy, but Jordan says it didn't look like ecstasy. After she says Jeffrey touched her, her parents, who are observing in the other room, order her to stop. Foreman tells the parents that the truth serum is not working and what Jordan just said is a lie.

House knocks on Cutty's room and offers to babysit for her. Cutty says she has her daughter in day care downstairs. As House leaves, he hears a baby cry in the room. He enters the room and sees that Lucas, the private investigator, is there comforting the baby. House says it is awkward, then leaves.
