Cuddy wakes up at 5:00 am, reaches over to Lucas, but he is not in bed. She gets up to go through her morning yoga exercises, but is interrupted after Rachel wakes up. She gets dressed while feeding her baby. Lucas arrives and suggests Cuddy stay home while he relieves her stress although she has a meeting. While making love in bed, Cuddy ignores a call from House. Lucas finishes before Cuddy is satisfied. Cuddy looks herself at the mirror for motivation.

At the hospital, House tries to get Cuddy's attention. House admits he was on a stakeout with Lucas last night. He says while waiting he made a bet he could interrupt her while she makes love to Lucas. Cuddy asks help from her staff after she learns that the pharmacy wants to talk to her.

Oscar, the junior pharmacist tells Cuddy that their supplier doubled their order of ephedrine and he can't find the order. Cuddy runs to the OR where she learns that Dave, the chief of surgery, is complaining about the AC that was ordered turned on by House. He says he figures House wants him to hurry during his operation.

In the hall, House tells Cuddy that his patient now has an abscess large enough to put a hand through. Cuddy gets a call from her nanny Marina who tells her that Rachel threw up. Cuddy gets another call from her nurse who says Eli from Atlanticnet the insurance company is there to meet her.
