While cooking, Noah gets a knock on his door. Claire enters and is surprised that the place is all set up. Claire discovers that Lauren is there helping out. Claire is concerned that Noah didn't tell Sandra he brought a date. Sandra, Doug and two of their dogs arrive. Noah introduces Sandra to Lauren. He tries to explain she is just a former coworker.

As Hiro angrily sets up for dinner, he explains to Lydia that in Japan they celebrate Kinro Kansha instead of Thanksgiving. Hiro tells Lydia that Samuel broke his promise. Edgar asks Lydia where Joseph is if Hiro fixed the past. Lydia asks Hiro what he did when he jumped back in time. As Lydia undresses and changes, Hiro feels like she is trying to seduce him and exclaims he is in love with Charlie. Lydia says she can read his feelings after he touches her back. After seeing that he didn't save Joseph, Lydia asks him to take her back eight weeks ago.

Lydia and Hiro jump back and see Samuel ask Joseph to talk. Lydia leaves to follow the brothers.

Back at Peter's apartment, Angela asks Nathan to say grace. Nathan says he has nothing to live for since he is dead. Peter asks Angela to tell them the truth. Angela informs them that Sylar was going to kill the President. She explains that she dragged Matt to the hotel room, but Nathan was already dead. She admits that she had Matt transfer Nathan's mind to Sylar's body. Angela tells Nathan that she considers him as her son.

Noah toasts everyone for joining him for his first Thanksgiving he ever hosted. After Lauren asks Sandra when she met her boyfriend, Doug says that they met at the dog groomer. After Sandra asks when they met, Noah and Lauren admit they used to work in Primatech. Doug suggests they go around and say what they are thankful for. Doug starts off by saying he is thankful for Sandra and Claire. Noah says he is thankful that Claire is there. Lauren says she is thankful for candied yams. Claire says she is not feeling thankful. Noah informs Sandra that Claire's roommate moved out. Claire admits she is considering dropping out of school.
