It is nice to see the fresh faces in the show get more time and develop their personality. I thought Avery's attempt to kiss Cristina created a tension that the series definitely needed. I think Hunt is going to push Cristina away by reporting her for cutting into the patient when he asked her not to. She will probably need someone to vent to which will be Avery. Reed's admiration towards Alex is also interesting. Since Izzie abandoned Alex and left him with huge medical bills, it would be understandable that Alex is attracted to Reed who is there for him.
