While all the doctors wait to be interviewed, a fight erupts between Alex and Jackson. Webb says what happened to their patient is inexcusable and they will wait there until he finds the truth.

Webb calls Hunt in the meeting room to talk to him and Jennings from the hospital board. Hunts says they were working on mass casualties from a hotel fire. Hunt says Cristina got the patient's file first.

Cristina says she went to the ER and was told about a burn victim Cathy and her son. Since the case seemed easy, Cristina says she handed off the patient to Reed and Kepner.

Reed and Kepner speak to the panel. Reed and Kepner examined Cathy. Cathy said she stopped at the hotel to rest before the fire broke out. Reed and Kepner told each other that the other doctors hate them. They watched as other victims were wheeled into the ER. Kepner says she passed Cathy on to Sloan before she went to help Bailey, who worked on a patient who had an axe stuck in him.

Bailey tells Webb that Charles fainted. Charles donated blood before the mass casualty call. Charles said he lost a patient in the parking lot since he didn't get any help from the rest of the staff. Jackson, another doctor from Mercy West, said the doctors from Seattle Grace seem douchey. Charles went to help Bailey hold the axe, but fainted and pulled it out causing him to gush out blood. Bailey patched the patient up then ordered Alex to fix Charles, who was on the floor.

Lexie says she treated Cathy at first. Sloan was called away to treat another patient. Arizona told Lexie to help her, but she stayed with Cathy for awhile. Since Cathy said she was fine, Lexie went to help Arizona.

Arizona told Lexie about her patient who had burns all over his body. Sloan put menthol under Lexie's nose to help with the smell. Lexie says she assigned Reed to Cathy. Reed says she was never with Cathy. She told Cathy she is fine, closed her curtain, then went to help Callie with another patient.

Webb asks the doctors who was in charge of Cathy, but none of doctors claim that Cathy was their patient.

Alex says he was treating the doctor that took a nose dive. Webb asks him if he means Charles. Webb asks the doctors who ordered morphine and Cristina admits she did. She says she checked with Cathy and saw she had pain on her chest caused by the burns. Since Christina read that Cathy didn't have any allergies, she ordered morphine. Afterwards, she went to treat her own patient, a fireman who was angry at himself.

Lexie says she was supposed to be with the severe burn victim. She explains that Sloan told the patient he needed to perform an escharotomy. After Sloan cut into the patient, Lexie started to cry because the patient screamed in pain. Arizona told her to leave the room. Cathy's son told Lexie that his mom can't breath. Lexie examined Cathy and saw that her lung collapsed. Webb asks if she accidentally punctured Cathy's diaphragm. Jackson says Lexie put the chest tube in Cathy, but forgot a step. Jackson says he had to relieve her chest since Cathy had tension pneumothorax.

After the fireman crashed, Cristina gave him a chest compression to restart his heart. She noticed a kid in the room and handed him over to Lexie. Lexie says she waited with him hoping his dad was going to arrive soon. Arizona told Lexie she should get back to the severe burn victim and comfort him.
