Mark reports to Stanford that the audio forensics are working on Demetri's audio now. He asks him if he sent Olivia a text since he is one of two people he told. Mark remembers that Stanford was angry when he told him. Stanford says he is not that petty.

Bryce practices his Japanese with a Japanese patient. He shows her his drawing of the woman from his vision. The woman says she recognizes the symbol on the woman's shirt as being from Tsukuba. She figures the woman is local to the area. Bryce explains he was sitting in a restaurant during his flashforward. Olivia tells Bryce that she has a friend who wants to put him in an experimental trial using a drug called trifectumab. Bryce says he knows about the drug and is not sure about the side effects. He explains he can't take a drug that might make him sicker. Olivia says she thinks he might get better by taking the drug. He advises him to go to Houston to try out the drug. Instead, Bryce takes a plane ride to Tokyo.

Bryce goes to the restaurant he was told about. He explains he is looking for a girl and shows the store owner the picture. One of the cooks recognizes the woman as Keiko.

Meanwhile, Keiko tells her mom that she wants to live her own life and pick her own husband. Her mom tells her she should move out.
