Mark calls Aaron and asks her how Tracy is. He says Tracy is afraid Jericho is coming after her. Mark explains Jericho is based in Santa Monica and he needs a higher clearance to investigate. After Olivia's phone rings, he sees the text message that says he was drinking during his flashforward. Olivia says she got a weird text from someone she doesn't know. She explains they talked about his drinking, before she was able to bring it up.

At the hospital, Olivia tells Bryce he looks sick and pale. She suggests he go home. After Bryce stumbles, he explains he is only tired. Olivia notices that he has a central line installed. Bryce admits he has stage four renal cell carcinoma. He says he had his kidney removed before he started there. Olivia realizes that is the reason why he wanted to kill himself. Olivia says she can't believe he is going through his pain alone. Bryce informs her since the blackout happened, he has something to live for.

Tracy brings Aaron lunch. After he notices that she is drinking heavily, Aaron says he can't have her drink in the house. Tracy says she is only having a glass of wine. Aaron says he knows about the vodka in her room. He explains he can't be in the same room as alcohol. Tracy says she will go somewhere else then.

An NSA agent named Levy reports that her team found the man's ring had the alpha symbol on it. She explains the ring was easier to put together than the face since it has hard reflective surfaces. She says one of the members of the Mosaic task force has been red flagged by the NSA. She admits their wiretaps found that Demetri's phone was contacted by someone whose phone was professionally concealed. Demetri asks to get the recording, but she refuses. Demetri demands to get the call and she agrees to work on it.

In a Japanese office, Keiko gets distracted and watches a music video while practicing guitar chords. She is told that the boss wants to see her right away. In the board room, they ask her to serve the members tea. Her coworker explains she is the only female in their department.

Bryce practices his Japanese with Nicole. She is impressed he is learning a language for someone he has never met.

After the addicts meeting concludes, Mark tells Aaron he is struggling. He explains someone sent Olivia a text about him drinking during his flashforward. He says he only told two people knew about it. Aaron says he spent hours listening to him and won't be his punching bag. Aaron gets angry that Mark would consider him as someone who would tell his wife. He advises Mark to get a new sponsor he can trust.

Keiko goes to a tattoo parlor. The artist thinks she is not serious since she looks like an office girl. She explains she wants to do it for herself.
