Olivia tells Mark they have to leave the hotel sometime. Mark says he booked another night and she hasn't yet opened her present. He says they should celebrate second chances. Mark gets a call from Demetri who sends him a video from Barstow. He says the video captured a murder by someone who had star tattoos on his forearm just like the gunmen he saw in his flashforward. Mark says he will get back to work immediately.

At the FBI, Demetri says the victim is named Neal Perosky who worked in aeronautics. The witness reported Perosky handed his killer something before he was shot. Mark sees that Janis in the office. She gives him enhanced images of the gunmen. They wonder why the man wanted Perosky dead. Mark plans to talk to the witness Ingrid Alvarez. He says she is the best lead to stopping the gunmen. Mark says Al proved they can change the future.

At the hospital, Olivia opens her present and sees it is the lingerie she wore for Lloyd during her flashforward. Bryce tells her he is surprised she is back early.

Tracy wakes up after having a nightmare of her humvee being attacked. Aaron enters her room and tells her she is fine. Tracy puts on her artificial leg and says she doesn't want to talk about what happened. Aaron says he has been grieving for a long time and even had her grave exhumed. He tells her she has to tell him what happened. Aaron says they both saw in three months from now, they will be in Afghanistan.
