Clemente asks Mark what happened before the gunmen entered. He says he isn't sure, but vaguely remembers being on the phone. Clemente informs him she got a transcript of his debriefing session. She sees that he saw impressions of events, unlike other people who had vivid visions. She asks him why his vision is different. She announces she can't justify the spending for the Mosaic project. She compares the project to voodoo which causes Stanford to bolt out of the hearing room.

Mark gets a call from Janis who sends him a satellite photo showing the tower. Al says the towers were about 100 feet tall. Janis says the structure is the last thing she expected to see in a place where there is no indoor plumbing.

Stanford calls Janis and asks her to do something for him.

Janis meets Maya at the art gallery. She gives Janis a new alarm clock. Maya asks her if she date guys too. She admits she Mosaiced her and learned she will be pregnant five months from now. Maya says in her flashforward she saw she was wearing a wedding ring and wonders if she was married to Janis. Janis says she is not sure what she is going to do. Janis says she can't have a relationship at the time, then leaves.

Stanford goes to the house of a woman named Renee. He hugs a little boy in the living room. Later, Stanford has drinks with the President. He asks Stanford if he has thought about the DHS job. Stanford gives him the picture of Renee with the President. He says he found Renee using the Mosaic website. Stanford offers the deal for the President to make sure the funding for the Mosaic project goes through in exchange for the negative of the picture to be shredded. After Stanford leaves, the President calls someone and asks him to take care of a problem.

Mark, Demetri and Vreede have drinks at a karaoke bar. Mark asks Demetri to slow down, but he says he is entitled since he only has a five months to live. He joins Vreede and sings Bob Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone. Stanford meets with Mark and asks him why he screwed up during the hearing. He tells him he believed him, but his story has more holes than a kitchen sponge. Mark admits he was drunk during his flashforward and wasn't sure what he was supposed to say. He says he has been sober for 7 years and has no intention of taking another drink. Stanford says he can't believe he put his entire career at stake because of his unreliable vision. The other agents arrive. Stanford buys them a drink and tells them to celebrate the funding he secured.

Olivia tries to activate the alarm that was just installed, but fails. She tries to call Aaron, but gets a text message that informs her that Mark was drinking during his flashforward. She tries to text back but the caller is blocked.

The agents see a news anchor report the President just nominated Senator Clemente as his new vice president. Stanford tells Mark that everything is a trade off.

Mark's car is hit by an SUV. A group of Asian men get out and fire a grenade launcher. The agents escape just before the grenade explode. They open fire at the Asian gunmen and kill several of them. The Asian men get back in their SUV and drive away. Meanwhile, Janis is attacked by two gunmen and is shot in the abdomen just before she is able to kill one man and shoot the other man in his back. As she lays in a pool of blood, she remembers her flashforward.
