The agents attend a press briefing held by the President. He announces the Senate hearings will be closed since they will discuss National Security. He says the Senate will shut down any unnecessary programs. Since the Vice President has died, he will announce his replacement nominee soon. He states like other world leaders, he will not discuss what he saw in his flashforward.

Back home, Aaron helps Olivia set up her alarm system. She admits she heard him talking to Mark about the meetings in Washington D.C. She reminds him the last time Mark started drinking, he was in D.C. Olivia figures Aaron knows about her flashforward. She says it is crazy to think she would be with another man. Aaron says since Mark is an alcoholic, he doesn't need a reason to start drinking again. Olivia says she is not sure if she can trust him. Aaron says if she can't trust Mark, who can she trust.

Stanford meets with the President in the Oval Office. He thanks him again for his work during the campaign. He feels bad that he couldn't bring Stanford into his administration from the start. He asks him if he wants to be his Director of Homeland Security. Stanford is a little upset he wasn't asked to be his vice president.

Janis has dinner with Maya. She says the FBI doesn't trust giving guns to gays, so she hasn't told anyone she is a lesbian. Maya shares she was wearing a wedding ring in her flashforward. Maya asks Janis what she saw. Janis jokes and says she was having a three way with Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin on the International Space Station. Maya tries to one up her fantasy and says she was on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, tried to call Janis, but she didn't answer. Janis says she doesn't believe she would ever let her down, then gives her a kiss.

At the Senate Intelligence Committee headed by Senator Clemente, several experts testify. One man blames China for the blackout. Clemente says that most of the Chinese population was asleep at the time. He testifies since most the causalities were in the US, it seems like the country was targeted. Senator Clemente says Stanford will testify next.

During recess, Clemente tells him if her campaign could have proved what he did with a woman before the election, she would be the President now. Clementine says in her flashforward she saw herself as President in six months.
