What if you saw your future 6 months from now? A glimpse of where you will be and who you will be with. Would you look forward to what was coming...or would you try to stop it?

A mysterious global event causes everyone to black out simultaneously for two minutes and seventeen seconds, and each person sees a glimpse of their lives six months from now. When they wake up, everyone is left wondering if what they saw will actually happen.

Los Angeles FBI Agent Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) is desperate to uncover why this happened and who or what is behind it. And he's not the only one. Before long, everyone starts asking, "What did you see?" As Mark and his team struggle to figure out what caused this bizarre event, they begin to piece together the future by creating a huge database of people's flash forwards from all over the world - The Mosaic Collective. No one knows what these flash forwards mean or exactly what the future really holds. But it is clear that across the globe people who've never met will somehow be intimately connected and will have an impact on each other's lives in the next six months. Some will fear what's coming, others excited; but not a single person will be unaffected.

The entire world blacks out at the same time. Some, including Mark, an FBI Agent, have visions of the future, while others, like Dimitri, don't see a thing. The FBI starts an investigation on what caused everyone to lose consciousness.

The team travels to Utah to find D.Gibbons. Meanwhile, Olivia meets the man of her dreams, but tries to stay away in order to save her marriage.

Mark and Janis travel to Germany to meet with a jailed Nazi who promises them important information in exchange for his release. Meanwhile, Demitri's fiance, Zoey returns and says that she was in a wedding during her flashforward even though he doesn't remember a thing.

In an effort to prevent his own future murder, Demetri follows a lead provided by a terrorist suspect. Olivia ignores crucial information learned from a flashforward to save a man's life.

Mark and the team defend the Mosaic project in front of Congress. Janis and Al find suspicious buildings in Somalia.

The team recovers from a simultaneous attack. Demetri and Al follow a guided path to a Halloween party gone wrong. Meanwhile, Dylan brings Lloyd to Olivia's house which he recognizes from his flashforward.

The team investigates a club formed by people who saw darkness during their flashforward. Meanawhile, Zoey and Demetri realize that they are growing apart since the blackout.

Mark gets a lead on a tattooed man he saw during his flashforward. Meanwhile, Simon and Lloyd play a high stakes game of poker.

Bryce travels to Japan in search for the woman from his vision. The team gets a lead on the person who called about Demetri's murder. After the discovery of the text message on Olivia's phone, Mark and Aaron have a falling out.

Demetri and Mark travel to Hong Kong to search for the mystery caller who knows about Demetri's murder. Lloyd announces to the world that he is responsible for the blackout. Simon helps the FBI with their case.
