Joanna tells Clyde that she just wrote a story. Clyde, who is drunk, sees that it has a lot of words which he says qualifies it to go on the front page. After Joanna and Penny celebrate, Penny kisses her, slaps her on the butt, then leaves.

In jail, Roxie and Chad see Mia and Josh arrive. Roxie thinks it is strange that Mia was making out with Chad's younger brother Josh. Roxie and Mia get in a fight. Mia asks her what she did to be put in jail. Mia says that Josh is only her friend. She admits she didn't tell her about Josh because she was embarrassed.

Back at the restaurant, Will, who is a volunteer firefighter, sees that Kat has a scratch on her leg and offers to clean it up. When Will touches her leg, he feels a spark. He tells Kat she looks great in her dress. Kat says she shouldn't do anything since Joanna likes him. Will gives Kat a kiss.

The next morning, Kat wakes up on Joanna's couch. She realizes she sang in public. She tells Joanna her night was good until the restaurant burned down. Joanna asks her if she met anyone she had a spark with. Kat says no. Joanna opens the door and sees the paper with the headline, 'Meet Sebastian Hart,' with Darryl's picture below it.

The town starts to rebuild their damage. In front of the newspaper building, Penny asks Joanna if she roofied her. She insists she likes guys. Joanna says Clyde wants to talk to her. In his office, Clyde yells at Joanna for the libelous story. Darryl tells him to shut up and asks Joanna why she wrote it. She says her concerns were valid because he dodged all her questions. She says she believes he has something to hide. Darryl agrees to be interviewed. She asks him about the dead baby named Darryl Van Horne. He explains that it was his cousin's baby who was still born. He adds that all of his family members name their first born Darryl. Joanna asks him about Sebastian Hart who looks exactly like him. Darryl says that he would like to see the picture, but Joanna says it was stolen and the mircofiche in the building is missing. Fidel arrives and gives Joanna Darryl's birth certificate and other records. Darryl suggests she doesn't write half baked theories. Darryl says there is a reason why he doesn't like the press. He calls Joanna a true journalist then leaves. Joanna says she will start with the retraction, but Clyde tells her she is fired.

Roxie makes Mia her favorite breakfast when she was five as a peace offering. They apologize for being mean to each other. Roxie says she is going to start to trust Mia, but she should trust her too. Mia admits she likes Josh a lot. She feels bad for what she said in front of him. Roxie says that Josh will forgive her and helps her compose an apology text.

Darryl finds Kat on the street and compliments her on her singing. Kat says she feels like crap today. Darryl says that every pleasure comes with a price. Darryl says that she should figure out how much she is willing to pay. He tells her that she can sing at any restaurant of his she wants.

Chad meets with Roxie at her house. He says that Josh has it bad for Mia. Roxie says she hasn't had any visions today. Chad asks her to practice and says that discipline is doing stuff when she doesn't want to. Roxie has a vision of attending a funeral with Mia. Chad asks her if her vision was about him and she says she hopes not.
