At home, Mia talks to Josh on her laptop webcam. She sees a poster of a dragon in his room and asks him about it. He lies and says it is for a team. Mia closes her computer after Roxie comes home. She asks her who it is. Mia says she is tired of having her constantly in her face. They get in an argument and Roxie ends up grounding Mia.

At work, Clyde, the editor, tells Joanna that tomorrow's paper looks thin. Joanna says that she has a story about a zoning-bribery scandal. Clyde tells her that he wants to see more sex scandal stories. Clyde explains that either she will be writing the front page or go back to writing about cat birthday parties. Penny tells Joanna that her lead has left her a lot of information about Darryl. Joanna says she passes. Penny says she thinks she is avoiding doing stories about Darryl since she likes him. Penny convinces her to meet with an associate of Darryl.

Chad arrives at Roxie's store and catches her reading Mia's diary. She says that she might have a psychic ability. She explains she is trying to read Mia's diary without actually reading it. Chad tells Roxie he believes her. She explains that her visions come to her when she is either asleep and awake. Chad suggests they use comic books to help them hone her ability.

Darryl meets with Kat at a diner. She says she wants to learn how to flirt with people. She says she never got to do the single women stuff since she became a mom early. She says she made a list of stuff she wants to do like bake crackers, learn a foreign language, and read the Time Traveler's Wife. Darryl says it is not a bucket list but a suck it list. He says she should try to do something more exciting. He asks her if she is Amish. Kat says she wants to be a sexy lounge singer like Michelle Pfeiffer. Darryl likes the idea. He gets on the piano and starts to play. Kat says the owner might not approve, but Darryl informs her that he is the owner. Darryl encourages her to sing. Kat says the fantasy is now off her list now, gets up and leaves the cafe.

At the school, Josh asks Mia if she is allowed to have visitors even though she is grounded. A group of girls say hi to Mia, which causes Josh to take off.

Chad holds up a card and asks Roxie to try to guess it. Roxie tells Chad that she feels like a crappy mom like her own mom was. Roxie looks outside and sees that the moon is huge. She realizes that Darryl was right and informs Chad that Darryl said the moon would unleash them. Mia calls Roxie, then hangs up. Roxie correctly predicts a whole row of cards. Chad tells her that he thinks she is unleashed.
