Roxie catches Darryl fencing with Fidel throughout the mansion. Roxie apologizes for leaving him during the art showing party and invites him to dinner to make it up to him. At the hospital, Kat tends to patients and uses her powers to heal them.

At the paper, Penny tells Joanna that she had a great time with Jamie the other night. Penny notices Joanna is dressed up and suspects she wants to impress Max. Max shows up and confesses he hasn't done much research yet. Max tells Joanna he knows she got fired after she wrote a story about Darryl in which she accused him of faking his own death as Sebastian Hart.

Ray arrives at the house and tells Kat she looks terrible since she has grey hair. He drops off the kids and says he needs to go to work. Kat sees one of her kids has a fever. She has her son close her eyes as she uses her power to reduce his fever. Her son says he feels much better. Kat gets up and notices she has a bloody nose.

Joanna takes Max to the police station to ask about Gloria's death. She tries to flirt with the officer, but he says he can't show her the report without a court order. Joanna uses her supernatural powers of persuasion to convince the officer to bend the rules.

After making love, Jamie tells Penny he is glad the plans he laid out is working. He tells her if something happens to him, he wants her to know he loves her.
