At the newspaper office, Will tells Joanna that she should apply for the position that just opened up. Will tells Joanna that she has something on her face. She wipes it and says that it is just puke and that she got drunk last night. Joanna tells Penny that she doesn't think she has a chance with Will. The editor tells Joanna that a rich man from New York bought the Lennox mansion after the city approved it. He says that the same man also bought the newspaper and is their new boss. Roxy goes to her store and sees the same man she saw in her dream. She falls off a ladder and he catches her. He gives her a sealed envelope with her name on it. She goes to the Lennox mansion and meets a man who introduces himself as Daryl Van Horn. He says that he would like her to hire her to make a sculpture of him. He says that he went to her website and likes her work. He says that her work reminds him of folk art, but has potential. He says that she is going have to know his body as he starts to undress. Van Horn asks her to name her price. She hesitates, but he says that everyone has their price. She makes up a number and says that she will charge him $50,000 and he agrees to the price. Roxie asks him why he is in town and Van Horn tells her that she was the one who wanted him to come. He says that he knows that she wants a man who stirs up sex and trouble. Roxie asks who he is and he says that he is just an art lover, but a demon between the sheets. He tells her to think about his offer.

Roxie has a dream about cutting herself after talking to her new friends about her meeting with Van Horn. She wakes up and tells Chad that he she has to get ready for a dinner party. Kat and Joanna arrive and talk to Roxie about how Van Horn is buying up all the business and land in the town. Roxie says that she saw him naked. The girls ask her to talk about his parts in terms of cars and Roxie says that it was the size of a full size SUV. Roxie says that she dreamed that she cut herself when she talked to them. Near the front door, Mia sneaks her boyfriend out of the house. Roxie sees that Mia has a hickie on her neck. Roxie then starts to chop vegetables and cuts herself.

The next day, Van Horn meets Joanna outside of the paper and tells her that he is a fan of her work. He says he sees that she is passionate and asks her to write a story about him. He says that she should find out where the money to buy all of the property is coming from. Van Horn tells Joanna to meet her later for coffee.

Kat is about to go to work, sees Raymond on the hammock and asks him to get a job. He says that he can't just get any job after he lost his job at the candle factory. Kat asks if she has to move the earth in order to get him off the hammock, which causes a quake. Raymond is launched off the hammock and on to his feet. He asks Kat how she did it. Kat becomes confused, says she didn't do anything then leaves to go to work.
