The show starts by jumping back one year ago. Sierra, who was in her original personality named Priya, sells jewelry and artwork at a beach. A man approaches her, tells her she is the real deal and shouldn't sell novelty items. He asks her to make him a large painting for an art showing.

Weeks later, Sierra's art is displayed at a gallery. She finds several women making out in another room. Echo brings her a glass of champagne and suggests she stick with Nolan, the man she met earlier, since he helps artists thrive. A man named Harvey tells Nolan that he can't believe the gallery is an elaborate ploy to seduce Sierra. Nolan says Sierra is an artist who can't be bought. Harvey asks if he can just build him a girl, but he says he wants Sierra.

Echo says there is a ton of money in the room, but what is important is power. She explains since Nolan is a medical genius who is just short of getting the Nobel prize, he has power. Harvey introduces Victor, who is in a personality of Luca, an Italian art dealer. Victor says he loves Sierra's art work and asks her about it. Victor asks Sierra if her bird motif in the painting means she feels free. Sierra takes Victor's picture with a polaroid and asks him if he wants to get out of there. Nolan blocks her and tells her she should stay. Nolan admits Victor is not even real. Victor leaves to get his treatment. Nolan continues to prevent her from leaving and says he won't take no for an answer. Sierra slaps Nolan just before she tells him nothing will make her love him, then leaves.

The episode returns to the present day. Sierra hugs Nolan and gives him a kiss. She asks him when she can see him again. Nolan takes a picture of Sierra with a polaroid before she leaves.
