Tom and Lynette meet with Gabby and give her tools for homeschooling. Gabby points out that Lynette is gaining weight. Lynette says she is just under stress. Gabby tells Lynette she will help her lose the weight, but Lynette says she has no time. Lynette then gets a call from one of Tom's friends and learns Tom snuck out to go to a party. Lynette goes to the party to look for Tom. She finds his friends and they tell her he just dropped off a keg and left. Lynette threatens to drop the vodka melon if they don't tell her why they are friends with Tom. They admit that they helped him cheat on a test.

Susan goes to bed and Mike's phone rings. Mike tells the caller he is busy and will go over there tomorrow. Mike tells Susan that Katherine was on the phone. Susan tells Mike he has to go or Katherine will sue her. Mike says it is a leak in her bedroom bathroom shower. Susan tags along with Mike to fix Katherine's shower. Katherine tells Mike the problem is actually in her kitchen. Susan goes to Katherine's room and sees it is lit with candles for a romantic encounter. Susan tries to tell Mike about Katherine's plan, but Katherine quickly hides the evidence. Susan tells Katherine she needs help. The two start to fight and end up in the bathtub. Mike sees Susan is soaking wet and she says they can go back to hating Katherine.

Lynette asks Tom about the cheating. He says he is failing the course and it is required. Lynette says they can't afford to have him fail. He says he studies as hard as he can. Lynette tells him to hire a tutor and not cheat. She reminds him he has to set an example for the kids. Tom points out that she is lying about her pregnancy. Tom says they both know there are times when rules need to be broken in order to survive.

Juanita tells Gabby she is bored, but Gabby insist she keep reading. Juanita throws her book and the two get in a fight. Carlos walks in and sees the commotion. Carlos tells Gabby that he talked to Juanita and she thinks it is Gabby's fault that she got kicked out of her school. Carlos tells Gabby that Juanita has every right to be mad, but Gabby has no excuse.

Bree tells Karl she can't give him an answer to his proposal until after she is divorced. She then asks to see the other Karl he promised her. He says he will show her the new Karl after they are married. Bree adds that they can't have sex until she sees the improved him. She explains that she will stand to lose a lot if they get married and she wants to make sure he's worth it.

Angie calls her mother and apologizes for not calling in such a long time. She says she doesn't have much time to talk because it's too risky, then sees Katherine in the doorway. Angie hangs up and tells Katherine she was talking to her mother-in-law. Katherine gives Angie a pie and asks about her prepaid phone. Katherine then tells Angie she is going to the police and asks Angie to give her the gun for evidence. Angie tells Katherine to stick to her plan and not involve the police. Katherine then realizes Angie was talking to Nick's mother in Italian and Angie explains that she likes it.

Gabby sees Juanita doing homework and tells her about how she used to get picked on in school. Gabby says she was little and couldn't fight back, so she used her mouth. Gabby admits she was wrong to yell at her principal. She asks if Juanita thinks she is a good mom, but Juanita doesn't answer.

Angie tells Susan that Katherine has totally lost it. She suggests that Susan find a way to get Katherine off the streets. Angie asks Susan if she considered the possibility that Katherine was the one who attacked Julie.

Meanwhile, Orson goes to the antique shop Bree said she bought the brooch and finds out they don't sell jewelry.
