Bree and Orson arrive at Mike and Susan's for dinner. Susan sees Bree's brooch and tells her it used to be hers. Susan asks to see it and sees that it is the same one Karl gave to her. Susan says it disappeared one day and she never knew where it went. Susan shows Karl and Bree says she found it at an antique store. Julie reminds Karl how he yelled at Susan when she lost it. Bree tries to give it back to Susan, but Susan tells Bree to keep it. Bree insists Susan keep the family heirloom.

Lynette confronts Tom when he comes home drunk with his college friends. Tom's friends get sick and pass out. Lynette tells Tom the kids have to go.

Mrs. Peterson tells Carlos and Gabby that Juanita will be punished by writing a letter of apology, being removed from the play, and working in the cafeteria. Carlos agrees, but Gabby objects. Mrs. Peterson suggests Gabby improve her parenting skills. Gabby tells Mrs. Peterson she is taking Juanita out her crappy school.

Katherine goes to Susan's house and asks to speak with her and Mike. Susan tells her Mike isn't there. Katherine apologizes for her crazy behavior and says she wants things to go back to normal. Susan tells Katherine she doesn't see inviting her to the next barbeque in their future. Katherine suggests she should sue Susan for reckless endangerment. Susan agrees to have Katherine join her and Mike for brunch.

Bree tells Karl they are over. She asks what kind of man steals a brooch, then yells at his wife for losing it. Karl says he forgot he took it back from Susan. Bree storms out of his office. He stops her and asks her to marry him. He tells her to think about it. He says he is a better man than he was when he was with Susan. He adds that he could be even better if she was his wife.

Angie looks at a picture and starts to cry. Katherine barges in and asks what's wrong. Angie says it's nothing. Katherine tells her their plan is working perfectly. Katherine asks about the picture and Angie explains it is her mother, who is no longer alive. Angie then tells Katherine that they are not partners in crime and the plan is all hers.
