Juanita's party is underway and Juanita is sad that the monkey is going home early. Gabby stops the monkey handler and demands the monkey stay, despite how tired he is. Susan and Gabby sit and have drinks. The kids run away screaming that the monkey is killing the clown. Gabby runs out and the handler tells her he has to get his tranquilizer gun. Gabby apologizes to Rachel's mother as she takes her kid home.

The maid brings Bree a lightbulb. She asks Bree if her friend stood her up and Bree says she just got their early. Bree then asks how many times her husband cheated on her. The maid gives Bree a dirty look and leaves. She then comes back and says she was the one who cheated on her husband, who was a good man. She says the good times didn't last and when it was done, she had no boyfriend and no husband. Bree tells the maid she is sorry her affair ended badly, but it doesn't mean hers will. The maid asks Bree if she feels guilty and Bree admits she does. Karl walks in and asks if they are okay. The maid says she was just turning on the light.

Lynette tells Tom about how upset she is by Roy's behavior. Tom asks why she cares what Roy thinks. Lynette says she just doens't like to be judged. Tom tries to BBQ some chicken, but Lynette tells him to make burgers instead. Tom sees Roy outside. Roy apologizes to Tom for his fight with Lynette. Tom tells Roy that Lynette respects him. He says Lynette grew up without a dad and she took on a lot of responsibility, resulting in the need to control everything. Tom says he lets her control him because it makes her feel safe. Roy tells Tom he is a good man.

Carlos tells Gabby not to beat herself up. Gabby thinks she is a terrible mom, but Carlos tells her Juanita and Celia are smart, resourceful kids thanks to her negligence.

Susan hears Julie screaming. Julie tells Susan someone is outside. She sees Julie has a gun and grabs it from her. They see a shadow move by the door. Susan calls out to the shadow and says she has a gun. The shadow passes by and Susan shoots. She then looks outside and sees she shot Katherine in the shoulder. Katherine tells everyone that Susan shot her. Susan and Katherine fight over Bob to be their lawyer. Susan asks why she was sneaking around her house.

Nick tells Angie that Susan shot Katherine. Angie says she didn't think Susan was a gun owner. Danny admits he gave their gun to Julie so she could feel safe. Nick is worried that the gun will be traced back to them and their real identities will be revealed. Angie assures Nick that won't happen. Angie then brings Katherine over and tends to her wound. Angie tells Katherine that she can tell Mike still likes her and she needs to take the high road to impress him. She says if Katherine walks around with a wound, but doesn't report Susan to the police, she will look like a saint.
