At the lab, Al tells Katherine that the victim was shot, but it wasn't the cause of death. He says the woman died after she was thrown out of car.

Greg shows the team a video of a man with a red shirt enter the store with Edward. They notice that the red shirt man was out of Hank's line of fire. Nick visits Hank and tells him having the sears is a federal offensive. Hank says he the red shirt was robbing the store with Edward. He admits that he didn't want them to know about his illegal business. Hank says the red shirt man didn't move as the bullets whizzed past him. He describes him as inhuman since he seem like he has been in a deadly situation before.

Sara and Katherine examine a car that has blood spatters on the door. Sara explains the car was impounded. Sara reports that the car belongs to Carrie Warren, who is the victim that was dumped out of the car. Sara finds a piece of the quilt inside the car. Katherine notices that the car is out of gas, which is probably why it was abandoned.

The team goes to Carrie's house and sees blood splatter on the wall. They figure Carrie was shot in the house. They notice that Carrie's dog Roscoe is dead on the floor and he was shot. They notice puked up milk next to the bed. After discovering a trunk full of teddy bears, Katherine wonders if Carrie had a boyfriend.
