Hudson tells Derek that there is going to be an airshow soon. They learn in both cases jewelry was taken which indicates that the unsub was most likely on foot. They see that in both families, the daughters were suffocated.

Garcia says they intercepted a note sent by an admirer to a prison inmate named Karl Arnold, who JJ recognizes as The Fox. The team members explain that Karl killed several families long ago.

The team meets with the father, Captain Downey, and inform him about his family's death. After Downey gets upset and collapses, Derek offers his condolences.

Hotch and Emily arrive at the prison to meet with Karl. Hotch warns Emily that Karl will want to share all the details of his murders. Hotch says they should expect to show Karl images of the dead family in exchange for his help. They pass through several glass doors to meet with Karl. He says he knows all about Emily.

Derek figures they should profile the man like the Fox. David figures the killer knew about the Iraq connection. Hudson reports they found prints on a picture frame. They see a bullet hole in the center of the father's image.
