This was probably the most gruesome and jaw dropping episode I ever seen on broadcast television and I loved it. The show did a great job in minimizing actual blood while maximizing shock with the props and shot set ups. One of the more effective moments was when Spencer told the OKC detective that some killers like to eat eyes which quickly cut to the unsub piercing his hard boiled eggs with his fork. Disgusting. Another great thing that this show does is create tremendous possibilities with the characters. I wonder if Derek is going to want to remain as the leader, if he is going to mess things up by getting too close to a victim's sister, and if Hotch is going to find Foyet or if Foyet is going to find his family. The series makes me want to watch and find out what is going to happen during the rest of the year, unlike other police shows that go case to case without any long term plot lines.
